The stars are shining over Bethlehem tonight
Yet still a greater light outshines them all
Emmanuel has come, His beauty shining bright
The Father sends His Son to save us all
Emmanuel, Emmanuel the Promised One
The child of whom the prophets tell

Of God’s own Son, Emmanuel
Emmanuel is born into a cattle stall
So delicate and small the Prince of Peace
This little child will bring salvation to us all

God is with us
Bringing us the Promised One
